Foster collaborations between Caltech faculty with patient-facing clinicians with identified needs as well as biotech industry stakeholders presenting technological challenges.
Workshops:
Include a component of active participation on individual and group levels through interactions with guest presenters, panels of invited guests or expert facilitators for knowledge mobilization.
Seminars:
A variety of traditional talks including the newest "Merkin Institute Joint MD/PhD Seminar Series" which will host speakers whose background, research and/or clinical pursuits may be of interest to MD/PhD students, other Caltech graduate students or post docs, affiliated clinicians and faculty pursuing translational aims. All current and recent Caltech-based MD/PhD students (from USC, UCLA or KPSOM) are encouraged to attend.
